Kazakhstan goes from two time zones to one

Eastern parts of Kazakhstan which have been observing UTC +6 will on 1 March 2024 change time zone to UTC +5.

This will reduce the number of time zones in Kazakhstan to one.

Kazakhstan does not observe daylight saving time.
