Golden makes MDT permanent, not MST

The Canadian town of Golden, British Columbia, has decided to keep Mountain Daylight Time (UTC -6) permanently.
The town council of Golden decided earlier this month to make Mountain Standard Time (UTC -7) permanent. This decision has now been overturned, and the transition from MDT to MST scheduled for 1 November, 2026, as well as all future time zone transitions, have been canceled.
